Massage Therapy
Massage therapy has been shown to reduce back pain, headaches, depression and anxiety, improve sleep, job performance, range of motion, mood and a sense of well-being, and reduce stress and fatigue.

360 Degree Chiropractic offers several massage modalities:
Swedish- Most often practiced in the United States: long smooth strokes varying in pressure from light to medium to deep. The massage therapist will use the pressure that is most comfortable to you.
Deep Tissue- Swedish massage targeting deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Deep tissue is best for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. The therapist may incorporate pressure point work ( pressing and holding various points on the muscle with thumbs, hands or elbow) and stretching.
Sports-(pre- and post-event)-Specifically designed for those involved in strenuous physical activity. Pre-event Sports Massage is designed to increase peak performance, prevent injury and improve flexibility. Post-event massage is aimed at treating injury, loosening muscles, and alleviating soreness.
Myofascial Release-The direct myofascial release (or deep tissue work) method works through engaging the myofascial tissue restrictive barrier, the tissue is loaded with a constant force until tissue release occurs. Practitioners use knuckles, elbows, or other tools to slowly stretch the restricted fascia by applying a pressure. Direct myofascial release seeks for changes in the myofascial structures by stretching elongation of fascia, or mobilizing adhesive tissue. The practitioner moves slowly through the layers of the fascia until the deep tissues are reached.
